Principles of Technology Teacher
Training
1. All training will be online and conducted through UT Telecampus (UTTC)
Professional Development Online.
2. The training will be available starting October 15, 2008 and
teachers will have 3 months to complete the training.
3. Click on the
application information link for the steps to apply for
admission to the program.
4. The cost for the training
is $500 which will be paid through UTTC when registering for the
training. Training can be paid by check or credit card; purchase
orders are not accepted.
5. Only
fully
qualified Texas teachers will receive a certificate. Others
will receive a letter of completion until all requirements are met.
6. Participants are expected to
provide/have access to the following:
a. Physics in
Context textbook and Student Lab Manual ($92.97 from the web site:
http://www.cordcommunications.com
b. Access to a
fully equipped lab. Limited lab access may be made available if demand
is great enough. Travel and expenses will be at the expense of the
participant.
c. Access to a
digital camera. |
